Light breaking through a stone pointed arch at dawn

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

A peaceful place to increase Iman and discover beneficial knowledge.

Rahma brings Qur'an, prayer, remembrance and authentic Islamic knowledge into one calm place — built with humility, and designed to return you to your life, not keep you in an app.

Not yet launched in your region? Join the Rahma community below and we will let you know the moment it opens.

Why Rahma exists

The phone became the loudest room in the house.

Muslims carry a device that competes for every quiet moment. The apps that hold our Qur'an also hold the feed that pulled us away from it — measured in streaks, notifications and time spent.

The problem

Islamic content is scattered across a dozen apps, unsourced posts and clips with no chain back to scholarship. What should bring calm arrives as noise, and what should be trusted arrives unverified.

The vision

One peaceful place where worship, remembrance and beneficial knowledge sit together — sourced, reviewed, and shaped by the conviction that mercy, not metrics, is the right measure.

Rahma is not built to win your attention. It is built to hand it back to you.

Sunlight streaming through an opening carved wooden mosque door
A door is opened, and the light does the rest. That is the whole philosophy behind Rahma.

The heart of Rahma

Doors of Mercy

أبواب الرحمة

Rahma is not a list of features. It is a set of doors — each one an entry into a part of the deen, each one open at whatever hour you arrive, each one asking nothing of you before you step through.

  1. Light pouring through a stone pointed arch at sunrise01

    التوحيد

    Tawheed

Foundations first — the oneness of Allah, His names and attributes, structured, sourced and free of speculation.

  2. Ornate carved mosque gate with gold latticework and stone columns02

    القرآن

    Qur'an

Recitation, Mushaf, tajweed and reflection. Read a page, hear a qāri', or sit with a single ayah until it settles.

  3. Golden illuminated arch within an intricately patterned prayer hall03

    النبي ﷺ

    Prophet ﷺ

The seerah and the sunnah — his life, his character and his example, told with reverence and cited with care.

  4. Sunlight streaming through an opening carved wooden mosque door04

    الصلاة

    Prayer

Prayer times, adhan and qibla — held at the centre, never buried beneath a feed. When Salah begins, Rahma steps aside.

  5. Three lit geometric-patterned portals in a modern stone mosque facade05

    الأذكار

    Adhkar

Morning and evening adhkar and remembrance for the ordinary moments — with a quiet counter that asks nothing of you in return.

  6. Golden arched alcove flanked by glowing lanterns at night06

    الدعاء

    Duaa

Authentic supplications for every season of the heart — gathered, sourced, and kept close at hand.

  7. Golden illuminated arch within an intricately patterned prayer hall07

    الزكاة

    Zakat

Clear calculation grounded in scholarly rulings — what you owe, on what, and when, without the confusion.

  8. Three lit geometric-patterned portals in a modern stone mosque facade08

    حلال ماركت

    Halal Market

A trusted marketplace of halal goods and services — vetted sellers, clear sourcing, no guesswork.

More doors open as Rahma grows — always reviewed before they are opened, never opened to fill a roadmap.

Trust & Islamic knowledge

Trust is the whole product.

Rahma carries the words of Allah and the words of His Messenger ﷺ. That responsibility sets the standard for everything else we build.

  • Authentic, beneficial knowledge

Material is drawn from the Qur'an, the authenticated Sunnah and recognised works of scholarship. If something cannot be sourced, it does not ship.

  • Source transparency

Every piece of knowledge carries its reference — surah and ayah, collection and grading, or the scholar and work it came from. You can always see where it came from.

  • Scholar involvement & review

Islamic content is reviewed by qualified scholars and students of knowledge before publication, and we name the reviewers involved.

  • Human review where it matters

Anything touching creed, rulings or worship passes through a person, not only a process. Sensitive material is escalated, never auto-published.

  • AI is assistance, not authority

Ask Rahma helps you navigate reviewed material. It is clearly labelled, and it never carries the weight of a religious verdict.

  • Corrections in the open

When we get something wrong, we correct it, log it, and say so — rather than quietly editing the record.

Ask Rahma

AI with humility.

Ask Rahma exists to help you find and understand what scholars have already said. It is a guide to the library — never a voice of authority within it.

What it does

  • Helps you find the right ayah, dhikr or lesson
  • Explains what a source says, and names that source
  • Summarises material that has already been reviewed
  • Points you toward qualified scholars for rulings

What it will never do

  • Issue fatwa or give religious verdicts
  • Replace a scholar, imam or teacher
  • Judge your faith, sincerity or practice
  • Invent evidence, chains or attributions

For a ruling, ask a scholar. Rahma will help you find one.

Prayer-centred design

When Salah begins, Rahma steps aside.

الصلاة أولاً

Every other app treats prayer as a notification. Rahma treats it as the reason the app exists.

Prayer Focus

At the adhan, Rahma quiets itself. Notifications hold. The interface narrows to the prayer, the qibla and the time remaining — and nothing else can pull you out of it.

Nothing competes with the adhan

No badge, banner or suggestion appears in the window around each prayer. There is no setting to disable this, because it is not a feature — it is the posture of the whole app.

You are not scored on it

Rahma will remind you gently and then let it go. There is no streak to break, and no record of what you missed shown back to you.

Who Rahma is for

Whoever you are, the door is already open.

There is no level of practice you must reach before Rahma is meant for you.

Community

Beneficial company, without the game.

  • Find masajid, classes and organisations near you
  • Follow scholars and institutions whose knowledge you trust
  • Share beneficial content without performance metrics attached
  • Moderated with families and new Muslims in mind

Educational partners

Our principles

What makes Rahma different.

These are commitments, not preferences. Each one costs us something, and each one is the reason Rahma is worth building.

  1. 01

    Trust before growth

We would rather grow slowly than publish something we cannot stand behind.

  2. 02

    Benefit before engagement

Nothing in Rahma is designed to keep you on your phone longer than you need.

  3. 03

    Simplicity before features

A feature earns its place only if it makes worship or learning clearer.

  4. 04

    No faith scores

Your relationship with Allah is not a streak, a rank, or a number on a screen.

  5. 05

    No shame mechanics

No guilt notifications, no red badges counting what you missed.

  6. 06

    No manipulative feeds

No infinite scroll engineered around outrage or comparison.

  7. 07

    Respect for Salah

Prayer interrupts the app. The app never interrupts prayer.

  8. 08

    Respect for the vulnerable

Families, children and new Muslims are protected by default, not by setting.

Privacy, safety & transparency

Especially because families trust us with this.

Rahma serves children, new Muslims and people at tender moments in their faith. That raises the bar on everything we hold.

Your worship is not data

Prayer, recitation and dhikr activity stays on your device by default. It is never sold, never brokered, and never used to target you.

Safe for children

Kids and Family experiences are ad-free, comment-free and reviewed. No open messaging, no strangers, no algorithmic surprises.

AI transparency

Anything generated by Ask Rahma is labelled as such, with its sources shown and its limits stated plainly.

Report and be heard

Anyone can flag content. Reports touching Islamic accuracy go to human reviewers, and we publish what changed.
